Edmonton County School Bury Campus

Edmonton County School, Bury Campus, Little Bury Street, London N9 9JZ

The school is situated on the east side of Little Bury Street which runs between Church Street and Bury Street West. The main entrance and car park is at the south end of the site close to the junction with Church Street. Church Street and Bury Street West are the first and second significant junctions on the A10 north of the A406 interchange. Just west of the school site the two roads meet just before a junction with the A105 Ridge Avenue / Village Road which is another main north-south artery.

The W8 bus route (Lee Valley Leisure Complex to Chase Farm Hospital) passes along Church Street with stops, labelled as 'Lower Edmonton School' (sic), just south of the junction with Little Bury Street. The 329 runs along the A105 between Enfield Town and Turnpike Lane and has stops close to the junction with Church Street. The Great Cambridge Road really isn't all that far away (a little over five minutes walk perhaps) and so the 217 and 231 buses mentioned for the Upper School also apply. As well as the stops mentioned previously there are stops just before the Chuch Street junction in each direction. The 192 bus again previously mentioned can also be useful though it turns from Bury Street West into Wellington Road about five minutes away from the school.

If coming by rail Bush Hill Park (about 20 minutes walk) and Edmonton Green (about 25 minutes walk) are again two obvious stations to use (they are on the lines from Liverpool Street to Enfield Town and Cheshunt). Edmonton Green has the advantage that the W8 stops round the corner on Church Street (as well as at Edmonton Green bus station which is nearby).  Winchmore Hill station (Zone 4) isn't hugely far away either (about the same as Edmonton Green) and that is served by suburban services from Moorgate (King's Cross at weekends and some other times) to Hertford North and Letchworth Garden City.
