Reunion for c. 1954-1960 leavers - 8th August 2007

Brian Ware organised a reunion at the Robin Hood on 9th August 2007 for those who left the school c. 1954-1960. He writes:

For those of you that could not make it to the Robin Hood the event was generally regarded as very worthwhile and a lot of fun. There seemed to be something for everyone and although there were two main groups, those that started school around 1950 and those that started around 1955, there was nevertheless much to connect the two. Blessed with good weather the whole time was spent outside in the garden and in the event it seemed that lunch would be an unwelcome distraction and we resorted to sandwiches and chips. Many thanks to the 23 old Eds that attended and particularly Penny Chesterman/Lynch and Verona Moore/Pettengell for their lasting enthusiasm during the planning phase.

' was a bit put out by Yvonne Seymour's exclamation of "OH MY GOD" when she saw me, that Greg Hare could not remember our epic bike ride to Gloucestershire at the end of the 4th form and that Viola Akhurst was so badly scarred by my teasing in Chemistry. So should we do it again I guess we shouldn't wait too long.
