2006 Newsletters

The Spring 2006 newsletter includes a few images and these are reproduced at full size below. Please also note that the version of the newsletter available for download has been reworked and so isn't quite what Dennis and Jean intended.

This splendid photo of the late Raymond Bromley Tabor accompanies the obituary by Ralph Christmas in the newsletter.

John Hulley, a former headmaster of the school as well as an Old Scholar, wrote a letter accompanied by this photo showing himself, Dave Langton, Joe Gold, Peter Ellacott and Michael Fielder.

This photo accompanied Ken Powley's contribution to the newsletter and feature himself and Kriss Akabusi at an awards dinner in August 2005.

The Summer 2006 newsletter again includes a few images and these are reproduced at full size below. Please also note that again the version of the newsletter available for download has been reworked and so isn't quite the same as the printer version that Dennis and Jean created.

A clearer version of this photo presumably exists somewhere. It accompanies a letter from Alan Flook talking about a mini-reunion . The photo shows Meg Brett (Stiven), Dave Brett, Sue Watson, Michael Molyneux, David Curtis, Viola Mason (Ackhurst), Alan Flook, Peter Evans, Sue Evans and Brian Mason.

This photo was sent in by Douglas Waugh and was taken on a school trip to Corfe Castle. Douglas says: "Apart from Jimmie North, the one next to the Head was Jones (a violinist) then Heesmen (an excellent swimmer). I am the tall chap third from right. To my left was Johnny Ratcliffe and to my right Alan Wrigar."

The photo looks like it is probably a bit out of proportion making everyone look tall and thin.

The Autumn 2006 newsletter includes just the one image and this is reproduced below. Please also note that again the newsletter available for download has been reworked a little from the original.

The above photo accompanied a piece by Maureen Shelley. It shows herself Joan Harness, Pat Shepherd and Veronica Puttock and was taken on the school field on the last day of school.

The Winter 2006 newsletter includes just the one image and this is reproduced below. Again the newsletter available for download has been reworked a little from the original.
